What started as an abridged deck of cards has been expanded to a full 52-card deck. The goal of these Inflatable Fun playing cards was to explore the theme of balloons which are very joyful and celebratory. The face cards feature adorable illustrations of balloon animals, including a dog, horse, and turtle. These animals are also utilized throughout the packaging design. I experimented with the multiply effect in Illustrator to create the transparent balloon look. All of the typography has a bubbly balloon treatment for that playful feel. The suits are given a balloon makeover with a subtle highlight and string along the border of the cards.
